This listing is for a dormant corm of Alocasia 'Regal Shield' Albo — a variegated form of one of the most imposing Alocasia hybrids in cultivation. You will receive one corm selected by our grower from the mother plant shown in the product photos. The mother plant is shown for reference and is not for sale.

Regal Shield is already a commanding plant — large, shield-shaped leaves with a deep green, almost iridescent surface and a rich burgundy underside. The Albo expression introduces white-to-cream sectoral variegation to that already exceptional canvas. Stable Albo expression on this hybrid is uncommon; each leaf is distinct.

Light — 80–180 PPFD at leaf level; bright indirect, controlled
Humidity — 65–80% RH with visible airflow at all times
Substrate — For corm germination: perlite + zeolite or perlite + sphagnum; warm 24–28°C, consistently moist
Watering — Keep germination medium consistently moist but never waterlogged
Feeding — No fertilizer until first leaf is established
Temperature — 24–28°C for germination; 22–28°C once established
