COLLECTOR NOTE

Alocasia olanii is a rare and striking species prized for its bold, architectural foliage with deep green, glossy leaves and prominent venation. A sought-after collector aroid with a commanding presence.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

One dormant Alocasia olanii corm, inspected for firmness and viability before shipping. Corms are living but dormant — they require warmth, humidity, and patience to sprout.

Corm — dormant material. Final appearance at maturity cannot be guaranteed from photos.

GERMINATION

Place the corm in a warm, humid environment (25–30°C, humidity above 70%). A clear propagation box or humidity dome over moist sphagnum moss or perlite is ideal. Germination typically occurs within 2–6 weeks depending on conditions. Do not overwater — the corm should be nestled in moist, not wet, substrate.
